Challenged by a high bushfire attack level rating (BAL 40), this home on the banks of the Yarra River was designed to bring a little bit of the Hamptons home to Warrandyte.
We had our new house build done by Custom Choice. Mitchel Thomas took us all the way for the initial plan drawings, through the council approval stage all the way to a completed house build. Mitch also advised, helped and manage a pool installation, large scale landscaping work, a gated front entrance and also completion of a large aggregate concrete driveway. Mitch was extremely professional in his approach. He had lots of ideas and suggestions and was also mindful of budgetary constraints and would work to get the best outcome. We feel Mitch is very particular and proud of his work and always wants the job to be done right. He has a great team of people working for him as well. I believe we now have a very high-quality home of which we can be proud. We are extremely happy that we chose Mitch and his team at Custom Choice to build our home. We couldn't be happier.

We did a major renovation and extension of our house including construction of an indoor pool. This renovation was mainly done to accommodate the long-term needs of our son who is in a wheelchair so there were specific requirements we needed in our design and construction. Mitch was really easy to deal with and extremely accommodating of our needs. We made changes along the way and he always did his best to keep us happy. The construction and finish was a very high standard and his builders were really nice too.
